We are so excited Kids Camp is back!

Things will be different, but our leadership team is working hard to ensure Kids Camp will be done in safe ways, following protocols designed with everyone’s health and well-being in mind – as well as the excitement of what Kids Camp brings.

The decision to have two sessions of Kids Camp this year – one in the morning, one in the afternoon – allows for smaller group sizes, greater space for each group and cleaning in-between sessions each day. The same exciting program will happen at both sessions each day.  We encourage you to embrace this and other changes as we look to have a fun, yet safe, Kids Camp!

Welcome to Kids Camp 2021!

Climb aboard for mountains of fun at Rocky Railway!

On this faith-filled adventure, kids discover that trusting Jesus pulls them through life’s ups and downs. We look forward to sharing the love of Jesus with you and your family this summer.

Due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions/guidelines, registration capacity is limited for each session….ensure a spot for your child by registering early.

5th/6th Grade Service Projects

Fifth and sixth graders will participate in on-site service projects this year. They will not leave our site as they have in the past, so a permission form is not required. Service projects are an awesome part of Kids Camp and an incredible opportunity for your kids to be the hands, feet and voice of Jesus in our world.

Checking In and Out of Kids Camp

The safety of your children is of the utmost importance to us. We appreciate your understanding and patience with the process to ensure your children are safe and secure at all times. Talk to your children about this process as well, so they don’t leave without being properly checked out.

When you check your child in on the first day of Kids Camp, you will receive a red ticket with a number on it that is assigned to your child. This same number will be on the back of your child’s name tag they wear each day. Each registered child will have their own ticket/number. Please put this ticket in a safe place for the week. You will be required to present your check-out ticket to your child’s leader and they will ensure the number you present matches the number on their name tag. You will also be required to sign the check-out sheet to verify you have picked up your child.

Specific details about where to check your child in and out of camp will be communicated as camp nears. These are some of the details we are still working through because it will be different than it has been in the past.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I request that my child be put in a group with their friends?

Due to the complexity of organizing kids into groups, we do our best to honor one friend request per child. We have three age groups: Pre/Kind, 1st-4th grade, and 5th-6th. Your child will be placed in a group based on the grade they are entering in the fall. There is a spot on the registration form for you to request one friend to be placed in your child’s group.

Who do I contact for a scholarship?

Contact Dee Ann at deeann@faithgolden.org.

How do I know my registration went through?

You must go to the Kids Camp Information Table to get a replacement check-out ticket. You will be asked to show your ID.
