Hi! I am Dayna Dowdy. I live in Golden with my husband, Carl, and two daughters, Hannah (10), and Hailey (7). I grew up in Peoria, Illinois, where I attended Northminster Presbyterian Church with my family for as long as I can remember. Carl and I were married in that church. We moved to Colorado in 2005.
I first started coming to FAITH when I was pregnant with Hannah in 2013. Both Hannah and Hailey were baptized by Pastor Jane on January 1, 2017. I love that FAITH is so welcoming to children and has such amazing children’s programs. At FAITH, I was part of the stage designing committee years ago and have also been part of volunteering with Kids Camp and Sunday School.
I am an employment lawyer working at a smaller law firm in Cherry Creek, but my favorite “job” is being a mom. My family and I enjoy the blessings of living in Colorado, whether it is skiing at Winter Park (where Carl works), camping, off-roading, paddle-boarding, or biking.
I am grateful that God helped me find such an amazing place to worship as FAITH and look forward to being part of the Church Council to further help give back to this wonderful community.
