John and I have been part of the FAITH community since 1999. Our son, Mason, is pursuing a career with his passion of mountain biking, and our daughter, Avery (19), is attending CU Boulder majoring in Political Science and Spanish. I’m a Montana native and John grew up in North Dakota. We love to camp and ride our bikes together.
We visited Faith Lutheran nearly 25 years ago. We knew very quickly this was a community we wanted to be a part of. We were welcomed with open arms and the FAITH community has truly become our family. They have been with John and I through the raising of our children, and the many ups and downs of life that we all have. I'm grateful to have this community to guide and support my faith journey. I have met so many amazing people of all ages that have impacted my faith and taught me so much about being a follower of Jesus.
I joined FAITH staff in 2009 as the Children’s Ministry Leader and was a Lead Teacher at South Table Mountain Preschool for about 8 years. Together these roles allowed me to be a part of more fully connecting our amazing preschool to the FAITH community. I came to my role in Children’s Ministry without much of any faith background growing up. The leadership of FAITH gave me the opportunity to share my experience, gifts, and talents in a whole new way. My favorite FAITH community experience, hands down, is our annual summer Kids Camp. I’ve had the honor and blessing of being a part of planting seeds in the lives of kids and adults through Kids Camp for almost 15 years....sharing the message that God loves each of us, no matter what!!
As of January 2024, I have moved into my new staff role of Authentic Connections Team Lead. In this role I will be connecting and supporting people in our FAITH community as they embrace and live out their own faith journeys. I’m so excited to be using my gifts in exciting new ways as this community continues to be the hands, feet, and voice of Jesus in the world.
