Ellyn Wilson

FAITH became a part of my life when I was expecting my son. My husband, David, and I were in search of a church community that would extend a warm welcome and create a supportive space for our family as it continued to grow. As we immersed ourselves in the FAITH community, we found not only a place of worship but also a group of caring individuals. The diverse range of activities and events provided by FAITH allowed us to forge meaningful connections, deepening our sense of belonging within the congregation. I have enjoyed volunteering during Kids Camp, helping teach Sunday School, and serving on Church Council. 

Now, I am the Children, Youth, and Family Team Lead. I bring to this position over five years teaching experience in elementary education. I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education and a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education endorsement. Teaching children has always been a passion of mine. I am excited to merge my educational background with my passion for guiding families on their faith journey in this new role. 

My husband, two kids, and I share a love for spending time together. We find joy in activities such as skiing down slopes, exploring hiking trails, visiting the zoo, building with Legos, and reading books. Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that I love all things Disney related. 

It is a true privilege for me to now play a role that involves encouraging, supporting, and walking alongside other families to nurture their relationship with Jesus.
