I've been a part of the FAITH Community since 2019. My wife, Laura, found a post on social media for a Sunrise Easter Service on South Table Mountain. Looking for something other than the Red Rocks experience and both with a Lutheran upbringing, we decided to hike up and check it out. Sensing a great vibe, we continued to attend regular worship services. In the fall of 2019, Laura and I joined the FLC Youth Group as adult leaders and have continued to participate with the youth on regular Sunday afternoons, during Frosty Follies and at Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp.
I am the executive director of SMACNA Colorado, a group of HVAC and sheet metal construction firms, a career opportunity that brought Laura and I to Arvada from Des Moines in 2018. I was baptized and confirmed at Deer Creek Lutheran Church in Carpenter, Iowa. In my spare time I enjoy following the Iowa Hawkeyes, golfing, brushing up on personal finance, and the occasional ski trip (mostly for the apres-ski).
